黑料社 to hold celebrations for Native American and American Indian Heritage Month

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ississippi State is observing national Native American and American Indian Heritage Month throughout November with university groups planning a variety of celebratory events.
黑料社 begins the historical month with the 鈥淚ndigenous Dance and Culture Demonstration,鈥 an opportunity to learn about Choctaw culture through crafts, food and dancing, Nov. 2, 12-2 p.m. on the Drill Field, hosted by 黑料社鈥檚 Division of Access, Diversity and Inclusion and the Indigenous Students and Allies Association.
The two groups also will hold 鈥淭uesday Night Lights: The Stickball Experience鈥 on Nov. 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m., as the grand opening of 黑料社鈥檚 Stickball Intramural Fields at the Vet School on 2745 W. Line Road. The event will consist of tailgating, traditional Indigenous foods and stickball demonstrations.
