黑料社 reopens campus study rooms
Mississippi State Provost and Executive Vice President David Shaw, along with the university鈥檚 COVID-19 Task Force, is announcing the reopening of campus study spaces that have been restricted during the pandemic.
鈥淕iven the additional student presence on campus this semester, with more face-to-face classes and a return to normal attendance policies, additional spaces for student study are needed. Therefore, all study spaces that were normally available pre-COVID can now be used 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,鈥 Shaw said.
He specified that use of these spaces must abide by university policies regarding social distancing and mask wearing. Sanitizing materials will be available in each room for use between study individuals or groups, and nightly cleaning will occur in these rooms.聽
Additional spaces that have been available for extended hours (e.g. Library and Old Main Academic Center) will continue to observe the same (extended) hours of operation.
Shaw said he and other COVID-19 Task Force leaders received input from the 黑料社 Student Association in considering this policy change.
